Ionic Charger - Warlock Arc 3.0 PvE Build

Updated: Nov 13, 2022

In this build, we use the new Warlock exotic helm, Fallen Sunstar. We also switch between the new exotic fusion rifle, Delicate Tomb and an old Red War era exotic, Coldheart. Our sole purpose in this build is enhancing Ionic Traces and generating tons of abilities.

Warlock Arc 3.0 PvE Build - Ionic Charger

Ionic Charger is an endless Ionic Trace generator. Watching several Ionic Traces flying around after seeing tons of Arc explosions is so satisfying. Our gameplay loop involves throwing down our healing rift to activate an Arc Soul, which will amplify us shortly after a couple of Arc final blows. Then, because it is an Arc ability, it will start to generate Ionic Traces which will allow our other abilities to regenerate quickly. This will allow us to throw down a jolting Storm grenade consistently to chain lightning around a large radius as well as jolt bosses and produce even more Ionic Traces.

Our aspects will help us to maximize everything that Ionic Charger already does so well, jolt and create Ionic Traces. The flex spot if there were to be any would be to replace Spark of Shock with Spark of Discharge to produce even more Ionic Traces, though we then could swap out Delicate Tomb or Coldheart for a Voltshot Brigand's Law or even Salvager's Salvo to maximize Arc explosions. If we really wanted to focus on Arc chains and damage, we could even use Riskrunner, but as you can see the combinations are endless here.

Because we are wearing Fallen Sunstar, our Ionic Traces will provide more energy to us and our allies and will travel quicker. Combined with our elemental well mods; Bountiful Wells, Elemental Ordnance, and Explosive Wellmaker; we will be able to produce a significant amount of ability energy between the number of wells and Ionic Traces we are creating.

No specific Legendary choices are required this time, though Chain Reaction swords like Half-Truths and Hero of Ages are always a ton of fun as well as a Voltshot Sailspy Pitchglass though our grenades and Delicate Tomb can jolt enough targets.

On top of all of our ability utility, we have two exotic Arc weapons that can help to create more Ionic Traces. Coldheart has good long-distance range and will generate Ionic Traces while in its high-damage state after holding the trigger for a short time and Delicate Tomb will produce an Ionic Trace when defeating powerful foes or random rank-and-file enemies.

Thanks for reading our Warlock Arc 3.0 PvE Build - Ionic Charger. We have a lot of fun testing and messing around with different weapons and exotics.
