Here's a fun build to enjoy with the craziness that we have been watching for the past week that is Telesto!
In this build, we will be focusing on enhancing the damage we will be doing with Telesto as well as our vortex grenades. We can do this by utilizing an exotic that was introduced in the Warmind DLC, Verity's Brow. This exotic grants a special buff called Death Throes that is activated with weapon final blows that match your subclass and both enhances grenade damage as well as grenade ability regen.
Because we will have enhanced grenade regen and damage, we can also utilize our favorite mods that will help us to create elemental wells which again will grant us more quicker abilities. These include Elemental Ordnance, Bountiful Wells, and Explosive Wellmaker. Bountiful Wells will always double our well production from grenades and because we are using Explosive Wellmaker, any explosive damage. In this case, both our Vortex grenade and Telesto explosions will create wells, leading to a plethora of wells for us to round up in between fights.
That is just the beginning of our Telesto build as we also will utilize our void aspects to help cause even more damage. Chaos Accelerant is tough to choose over Feed the Void, however, with Telesto and the amount of void weapon kills we will have, we can substitute it for a fragment, Echo of Starvation, which lets us gain Devour from Orb of Power pickup.

Child of the Old Gods is our second aspect in this build as the weaken effect pairs nicely with the damage buff we get from our empowering rift and Void weapon damage amplification from Font of Might. We can spawn a Void Soul each time we lay down our Empowering Rift, which will float to an enemy we damage. This will then activate the weakening effect and since we are using our Empowering Rift, it will grant health and rift ability on final blows of weakened enemies.
The void fragments we are using here are Echo of Starvation, Remnants and Instability. Starvation helps us to gain our Devour ability as we will be using an Empowering Rift instead of the Healing Rift we usually use. This can be changed, if you would rather use a Healing Rift, for Echo of Undermining to maximize weakening effects. Remnants allows our Vortex grenade to last for almost twice as long on top of the Chaos Accelerant ability to cover a wider area. Instability grants all of our void weapons Volatile Rounds once we defeat an enemy with our grenades, which we should have tons of. This will also allow us to create even more elemental wells.
This build has been a blast thanks to the fun little additions Bungie has added over the past week to Telesto!
